Leukotriene inhibitors

Off Label
However, many doctors prescribe such medications on an off-label basis, meaning that the United State Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not have any scientific proof that these medications are safe or effective for treating capsular contracture around breast implants. It is therefore, under the guidance of a physician, the responsibility of the patient to take the medication for its non-intended.
